Wake Up and Hunt is not a collective. We are not a recruiting service. We are not a booster group operating in the gray area of NIL compliance.
We are an independent athlete education and brand development platform — built to help student-athletes develop the life skills, financial literacy, personal brand awareness, and NIL understanding they need to make smart decisions during their athletic career and long after it ends.
Everything we do is designed to complement what great programs already build. We have no interest in creating headaches for compliance offices, conflicts with coaching staffs, or problems for the athletes we serve. Our goal is simple — help athletes grow. And we believe that goal is fully aligned with yours.
What Wake Up and Hunt Is
Wake Up and Hunt is a third-party educational and brand development platform for student-athletes at all levels — from Power Five programs to smaller schools and mid-majors. We focus on practical, real-world development that prepares athletes for life during and beyond their sport.
Our platform provides education and resources in personal brand development, NIL fundamentals and compliance awareness, financial literacy and money management, life skills and career preparation, and community and peer mentorship.
All NIL activity facilitated through WUH is deliverable-based and tied to legitimate brand work. Compensation is never conditioned on enrollment, athletic performance, depth chart status, or continued participation. We teach athletes how to report NIL activity properly to their compliance office and we structure everything we do with that requirement in mind.
What Wake Up and Hunt Is Not
We are not a recruiting engine and we play no role in influencing enrollment or school choice decisions. We do not manage or negotiate NIL contracts on behalf of athletes. We do not provide financial incentives linked to athletic performance or participation. We are not an NIL collective and we do not operate as one.
We do not contact coaches or athletic staff on behalf of athletes and we do not insert ourselves into team culture, depth chart decisions, or any aspect of athletic operations. Those belong to you — and we respect that completely.
How We Work With Your Athletes
When a student-athlete engages with Wake Up and Hunt they are doing so voluntarily and independently. We work with athletes to help them understand their NIL rights and responsibilities, build a personal brand that reflects their values and long-term goals, develop real financial awareness and smart money habits, and prepare for the career and life transition that every athlete eventually faces.
We adapt our approach to align with each school's specific policies, conference rules, and applicable state laws. If your compliance office has particular requirements or preferences for how third-party platforms interact with your athletes we are happy to discuss and align our processes accordingly. We would rather have that conversation early than create a problem later.

The reality of college athletics today is that athletes are navigating NIL, personal branding, and financial decisions largely on their own — often without guidance, often making mistakes that could have been avoided with basic education.
Wake Up and Hunt fills that gap. We give your athletes practical tools and real knowledge so they can make informed decisions, stay compliant, and build something lasting from their athletic career. That means fewer compliance headaches, better-prepared athletes, and a support system that frees your internal staff to focus on what they do best.
We are not here to compete with your program. We are here to make your athletes better — on the field and off it.
High School and Pre-College Athletes
For high school athletes and those not yet enrolled in college, Wake Up and Hunt operates with additional safeguards. Parent or guardian consent is required for all participation. All activities comply with applicable state high school association rules. We do not influence school choice or enrollment decisions in any way, and our focus at the high school level is purely educational and developmental — never transactional.
This ensures that WUH creates no downstream eligibility concerns for the colleges and programs these athletes will eventually join.

Wake Up and Hunt is independent of all universities, athletic departments, and governing bodies. Participation does not affect athletic eligibility, scholarship status, or team standing.
